The 9th Cabaret Summit is rapidly approaching and will be recorded on April 13 in the Wiener Stadthalle. Sadly, the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic continues to make it impossible to hold the show with a live audience, particularly as the health and safety of our viewers is our top priority!
Despite it all, we are looking forward with excitment to what promises to be a top-notch Cabaret Summit, broadcast as usual in two parts on ORF1, May 14 and 21, 2021 at 8:15 p.m. The show will feature Thomas Stipsits, Viktor Gernot, Alex Kristan, Eva Maria Marold, and the KGB - Die Kabarettgipfelband (Cabaret Summit Band).
The KGB Band members are fantastic musicians Maria Petrova on drums, Beate Reiermann on electric guitar, Marlene Lacherstorfer on bass, and Christina Zauner on keyboard. Get ready for a brilliant show!
If you have purchased a ticket for the Cabaret Summit to be held on April 12 and 13, 2021, it can be converted into a voucher for the next Cabaret Summit at the respective sales outlet, where existing vouchers can also be extended.

On September 22, we completed filming Phase 1 of our comedy Greece in Vienna and Lower Austria.

What a great honor for our TV movie Vier Saiten (Four Strings): Michael Kreihsl’s touchingly melancholic comedy was invited to participate in the renowned Baden-Baden TV Movie Festival. Audience favorite Otto Schenk plays a grumpy old musician who gains a new zest for life through his friendship with a young Syrian.
Its first broadcast — on March 25, 2020 — reached 1.1 million viewers in Austria.

As a company whose primary goal is to produce high-quality films, how can we at e&a film also take the crucial steps necessary to protect our environment and the climate?
This question was on our minds back in 2014, when we first started to look for cinematic answers. We went on to develop and produce The Green Lie, one of the most successful cinema documentaries on the subject of sustainability.
But the question stayed with us, and we came to the realization that we wanted to make an even greater contribution. For us, sustainability in film production also means making responsible decisions every step of the way — ecologically, socially, and throughout the entire production process.
For us, “green producing” is not a buzzword, it’s a fundamental attitude that we strive to incorporate in every area of our work, in cooperation and collaboration with the filmmakers who make our projects a reality. Saving resources and enacting climate-friendly measures is a matter of profound importance to us and an essential part of our corporate philosophy.
e&a film was founded in the summer of 2008.
Our philosophy is to entertain and yet challenge our audience.
Our productions encourage imagination, originality, and inventiveness.
Producing films must not become a matter of routine, because creativity and flexibility are indispensable elements of a successful production.
The language of film is global and has no limits.
